High-Throughput, High-Pressure Drum Cleaning — Built for Industrial Scale
Drums and barrels used in chemical, agrochemical, pharma, and food processing carry residues that are difficult, time-consuming, and often hazardous to remove manually. CoralPT’s Automatic Drum Washing System eliminates that problem. Purpose-built for industrial throughput, Designed to Wash 25 to 35 drums per hour using a high-pressure spray nozzle system, integrated filtration, recirculated wash water, and a microprocessor-based control panel with door-interlock safety. Place the drum, close the door, press start — the machine handles the rest. How It Works The system operates on a closed-loop wash-and-recirculate principle. The drum is positioned on a removable mesh wash platform inside the SS304 reservoir tank. Once the doors are closed and the electronic safety switch confirms drum presence, the high-pressure multistage pump draws water through the filtration unit and delivers it through a 360° rotating spray nozzle at high velocity — cleaning all interior surfaces thoroughly in a single cycle. Dirty wash water drains back into the reservoir, passes through the 4" stainless steel filtration cartridge, and recirculates — minimizing water consumption while maintaining wash quality cycle after cycle. A dedicated discharge pump with gear drive handles tank drain-down when required. A hand wash gun with flexible hose is also provided for exterior cleaning or hard-to-reach areas. The microprocessor-based control panel manages the entire sequence — soft-start motor protection, adjustable wash timers, drum presence detection via electronic photo eye, and emergency stop. The system will not start unless the drum is in position and the doors are fully closed.
Send InquiryHigh-Pressure 360° Spray Nozzle
A Lechler/Spraytech rotating spray nozzle delivers high-pressure, full-coverage wash coverage across the entire drum interior. Designed for effective removal of oils, solvents, chemicals, residues, and viscous products.
Integrated Filtration Unit
A 4" diameter stainless steel filtration unit with replaceable basket filters and pressure gauge keeps wash water clean through repeated cycles. Pressure safety switch provides automatic protection against blockage.
Closed-Loop Water Recirculation
Wash water recirculates through the reservoir and filtration unit, significantly reducing water consumption and effluent generation versus open-drain systems.
Removable Mesh Wash Platform
A heavy-duty stainless steel mesh platform supports the drum during washing and allows wash water to drain freely back into the reservoir without accumulation.
Manual Hand Wash Gun
A low-pressure stainless steel spray gun on a flexible hose allows operators to manually clean drum exteriors, drum lids, fittings, and peripheral equipment without a separate wash station.
Microprocessor-Based Control Panel
MS panel with push button On/Off, Emergency E-Stop, soft-start motor protection, adjustable timer, and electronic photo eye drum detection. System only operates when a drum is correctly placed and doors are secured.
Heavy-Duty SS304 Construction
The reservoir tank, platform, piping, and all product contact parts are fabricated in SS304 — corrosion resistant, durable, and cleanable. Non-contact external parts are SS304 or powder-coated as required.
Provision for Heating
Optional electrical immersion heaters can be integrated for hot-water washing — particularly effective when cleaning viscous residues, waxes, or temperature-sensitive product carry-overs.
Fork Lift Pockets
Integrated fork lift pockets on the base frame for safe plant relocation without additional rigging.
CoralPT’s Drum Washing System is available in four standard configurations based on the number of drums washed simultaneously. Pump size, reservoir volume, spray nozzle count, motor power, and electrical load all scale with the model — so you get exactly the capacity you need, nothing oversized, nothing undersized.

All dimensions and capacities are indicative. Final specs confirmed at order stage based on drum size, residue type, and site utility.
Choose DW-1 if you process drums in batches throughout the shift, have limited floor space, or are starting with a pilot installation. Most suitable for small-to-mid chemical plants, pharma drum rooms, and agri-processing units with moderate drum turnover.
Choose DW-2 if you’re running two production lines or have a dedicated drum cleaning area. Doubles throughput without doubling footprint — two stations share the same reservoir, filtration, and control panel.
Choose DW-3 or DW-4 if drum cleaning is a continuous, high-volume operation — drum reconditioning yards, large agrochemical manufacturers, FMCG plants, or export-oriented facilities where drums cycle fast and cleaning uptime is critical.
